Clay Shooting Experiences in Cheltenham & the Cotswolds
A proper half-day out for couples and friends. No experience needed - just turn up and shoot.
Clay shooting is one of those things that sounds intimidating and turns out to be one of the best afternoons you've had in a while. You don't need any experience, any kit, or any idea what you're doing, that's what I'm here for. Most people are breaking clays within the first few minutes, and almost everyone leaves wanting to come back.
Sessions run for 1 to 3 hours depending on your group size, at three great shooting grounds across Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, and Wiltshire.

What to expect on the day?
We start with a quick safety briefing — nothing serious, just making sure everyone's comfortable and knows what they're doing. Then we talk through the gun: how to hold it, how to mount it, what to focus on. After that, you shoot.
I'll be with you throughout, coaching each person individually and adjusting to what you need — whether that's pure encouragement or something more technical. We work through a variety of clay targets across the session, mixing it up to keep things interesting.
Everything is included. Shotguns, cartridges, clays, ear protection, safety glasses, and a Haydn Coley Coaching cap to take home.
