Clay pigeon shooting Experiences

Introduction to clay shooting

Come and give clay pigeon shooting a try, whether you are staying in the local area for a short visit or organising a party or event. I can fully cater to your specific needs and preferences to ensure you have an enjoyable experience.

How the experience works

We'll meet at one of the locations I work from, either Park Farm in Ombersley, Worcestershire, or Ian Coley’s in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

I’ll provide you with a suitable shotgun, which could be a 12, 20, 28, or .410 gauge, depending on what’s best for you.

You’ll also get all the necessary safety gear—a Haydn Coley cap, safety glasses, and ear defenders.

Once we’re set, we’ll head to the first stand, where I’ll give you a quick safety briefing.

After that, we’ll talk through the shotgun, covering the details, and focus on how to hold it properly to make sure you’re comfortable and ready.

Then I’ll show you how to shoot your first clay and walk you through the process step by step.

Once you’re confident, you’ll have a go at shooting your first clay. From there, we’ll try out a variety of different clays over the next 1–2 hours.
